    Rigger

Riggers plan the heavy crane lifts that put wind turbines together and take them apart for repairs, and they choose and fit the slings, chains and lifting gear that keep each lift safe. Wind turbine work happens more than 100 metres above the ground, with parts that weigh 50 to 100 tonnes.
